Why is summering so hard?

You’d think that after 35 years of Aussie-summering you’d think I had it mastered.

It seemed much easier in the Roxy denim skirt with frill & $7 Supre dress days.

But now lingering somewhere inbetween the ‘Mum put some clothes on’ & I’m not done yet, I’ve somewhat lost my way.

Some might think the research I put into my summer outfits to be pathetic (me included) but it has brought me happiness since I was old enough to zip my own denim hot shorts over my Minnie Mouse bikini.

I have a few golden rules -

1. 3 high impact outfits that require no accessorising

2. 1 statement bikini

3. 1 versatile shoe

4. Always a hat and headscarf

5. 2 or 3 affordable brands that are relatively unheard of

… and I always pack the outfits in order to avoid asking 2 children who are fighting to the death outside your room to wait while you get rummage through your suitcase trying to remember the vision!

Below have been my staples this summer. I try and look like I haven’t researched these under the blankets at 2am.

I haven’t shared content like this as I always feel my styling is very subjective.
